The Delegation of 2006 was headed by the Counselor of Culture and Sports of the Community of Madrid Santiago Fisas Ayxela, accompanied by Fernando Méndez-Leite, Ana Arrieta and Jorge Bosso. Pilar Garcia Elegido (Film Advisory Community of Madrid) and Cesar Romero (Global Stone Films) who coordinated the delegation which included a group of parliamentarians from the Madrid Assembly and a team of Cinematographic Journalists.

The honored actors who joined us in Buenos Aires were: Assumpta Serna, Mercedes Sampietro and Jorge Sanz.
Fernando Guillen, represented the movie "Other days will come" and Federico Luppi traveled as the godfather of the festival.
Madridcine 2006 was held at the Patio Bullrich cinema in the Retiro neighborhood of Buenos Aires, between the13th and 19th of July.
