SYINOPSIS
Victor’s letters to Abbas fluctuated from one theme to another according to the responses of Abbas.
The first, from Erice to Kiarostami was of the grandchildren of Antonio López painting a quince in the backyard.
The second from Victor, was set in the village of Arroyo de la Luz (Cáceres) an account of some10 year old children’s comments to their teacher over Kiarostami's film "Where is my Friend's Home?"
The third letter featured a shepherd and his flock grazing on the lands of Segovia and discovering new technologies.
The fourth "Sea Mail", fifth "Adrift" and sixth letter "Written in Water" had in common the journey of a message in a bottle, which plunged into the sea off the coast of Cádiz.
Each of these letters had their respective response in the letters of Abbas Kiarostami
